About 2MinPoli
Democracy in 2 minutes.
What is 2MinPoli?
2MinPoli is a civic debate platform designed to help voters make informed decisions by watching candidates answer questions directly. Instead of reading campaign materials or relying on soundbites, you can watch candidates respond to the issues that matter most to you.
How It Works
For Voters
- Find elections in your area by entering your address
- Submit and upvote debate topics you want candidates to answer
- Watch candidates' 2-minute video responses side by side
- Flag responses if candidates avoid the question or mention opponents
For Candidates
- Register and apply for verification as a candidate
- Record 2-minute YouTube videos answering each topic
- When mentioned by opponents, record 30-second rebuttals

Data Sources
2MinPoli uses the Google Civic Information API to provide election data for your address. This includes official election dates, offices being contested, and registered candidates from official sources.
Elections can also be manually created for local races not covered by official data sources.
